In yoga, we make the connection that our body benefits from the various asanas/poses, whilst our mind benefits from the stillness.

In the stillness we turn inwards.

We listen to our body and observe our breath.

We acknowledge the β€œpain” & we seek to β€œrestore”

When teaching yoga, I recommend supported restorative poses, breath awareness techniques & meditation.
Bringing together these techniques help to restore the body/mind connection.
